I’m Isa, a 21-year-old Guatemalan learning about life and beauty and documenting it online for your viewing pleasure. I’m a certified makeup artist and content creator who loves to travel, read, write, and –most importantly– slather my face in many different products.
I started Making It Up about 5 years ago, at the ripe old age of 16. Initially, it was a school project but as the years went by, it became so much more. The thought of building a community of beauty lovers and sharing my knowledge made me wanna take this seriously. And here we are 5 years later!
Making It Up isn’t about the latest must-have products or about learning how to achieve extreme makeup looks. Making It Up is about everyday beauty for the everyday human. I focus on easy and real makeup & beauty for anyone who’s interested. I like to use this platform to share everything that I’ve learned in my years as a MUA and beauty enthusiast. From products that I love, all the way to breaking down makeup looks to make them achievable for everyone.
But more than that, Making It Up is a community and a platform that allows us, beauty lovers, to have conversations and learn from each other. And most importantly, a platform that allows us to be ourselves and have fun doing so!
Since starting in 2015 I’ve expanded my horizons to Youtube and Instagram. So if reading isn’t your thing, definitely check me out on those platforms.
