Paula's Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50

If You Could Only Buy 1 Thing This Month, Buy The Paula’s Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50

Over the past year, I’ve become quite the sunscreen fanatic. Which is fantastic, because sunscreen is arguably the most important step in your skincare routine. And out of all the sunscreens that I’ve been using lately, there is one that has completely blown me away. If you read the title of this post then you have a pretty good idea of which sunscreen it is.

I originally tried the Paula’s Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 because I wanted a non-shiny sunscreen for my combo skin during the summer. And I found a winner! This is one of the only SPFs that doesn’t make my face look overly dewy and it contains lots of other benefits for my skin.

Here are all the reasons why I absolutely love this product:

The Formula

The formula of this sunscreen is very liquid and runny –– think popular European sunscreens like Vichy. And that means it’s an easy formula to work with. Its water-like consistency makes it easy to blend (with no white cast) and absorb into the skin in seconds! Once this dries on your skin, it leaves it looking hydrated and healthy. It doesn’t look dewy and it doesn’t look matte. It simply looks like skin and it feels like nothing.

Although this SPF is formulated with oilier skin people in mind, it is still hydrating. And people with drier skin who want a lightweight SPF that leaves no white cast, could benefit from this as well. On top of having a high SPF of 50, it’s also full of nourishing ingredients for the skin. It claims to have anti-aging benefits but, in my opinion, all sunscreens have anti-aging benefits.

I’ve been wearing it every day since I first tried it and I love what it does for my skin. It protects my skin, it makes it look healthy, and it works well under makeup. Plus this is one of the only sunscreens I can reapply throughout the day without messing up my makeup or making my face look like an oil slick.

I’ve never tried anything like this formula and, after trying it, I don’t think I’ll ever want to use another SPF again.

Price & Packaging

Now here’s the catch. This is obviously not the most affordable SPF out there. This comes in at $33 for 2 oz of product, which is fair. There are more expensive sunscreens in the market that give you less than that. So for the insane quality and the amount of product, I’m willing to pay the price over and over again.

The packaging is very on-brand for Paula’s Choice and it’s recyclable! I love the fact that it’s a squeezy tube because that makes it easy to control how much product I want while simultaneously keeping the liquid formula from exploding everywhere.

So, who is this for?

  • Normal, combo, and oily skin people who want a non-greasy sunscreen all year round
  • People with darker skin tones who are tired of sunscreens that leave a white cast on their skin
  • People looking for a liquid sunscreen that protects and works well under makeup

if you could only buy one thing this month, buy the Paula’s Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 and thank me later.
